Indian teenager finds place among top 50 Indian founders on Crunchbase list
It's no teenage fantasy for Pawan Kumar NR, born and based in the southern Indian city of Chitradurga. He started a startup company in his bedroom at the age of 19.

At an age most of the teens are busy playing games, karting and indulging in other activities, Pavan is busy designing a website. 

The 19-year-old rakes in thousands of hits a day on his online global news website which has no age restriction.

He came up with the idea last year while reading articles on Facebook about summly.

On January 5, 2018, Daily Herald reported “A Boy And His Website".   He’s a 19-year-old business superstar, CEO/Founder of and is the subject of breathless profile pieces by the likes of Business Insider and FQ Magazine, who’ve charted various strands to his lifestyle.

Pavan is, without doubt, an inspiring young entrepreneur, aged 19 and founder of an Indian start-up business.  Pavan’s start-up, the aptly-named Squad, is a global news-media based and entertainment platform featuring ‘cool’ content such as articles and interviews to bring all the latest trends and news to young people.

Pavan made his place in top 50 Indian founders from Karnataka in 2018 list.

Launched in beta last year, Pavan has already interviewed with India-west staff reporter the likes of Idris Elba and has five major news authors contributing to his website.  With more than 3,500 ‘cool’ pieces of content published on the platform till date, Pavan says it can be difficult to find time for Squad with his studies and extra-curricular activities.
