Being an NRI
Being an NRI (Non Resident Indian) in UK feels proud and overwhelmed especially after Tata took over giant Jaguar. Many people in UK drinks morning tea (Tetley Tea) owned by Tata and drive to work in Jaguar (owned by Tata).

Back home Tata is not only the household name for many Indians but the way of life as well. Tata Salt to Tata Nagar (Jamshedpur), Tata transformed many generation and still doing it.

India has already emerged as third largest FDI source for United Kingdom after the US and France with 122 projects. Indian companies not just only investing in Motor Industry or Steel Industry but also in Pharmaceuticals, Chemical and Food Industry as well.

Not only Indian companies but Indians who live in UK also make India proud being as classed highly professional migrants. Indians are taking over highly skilled jobs like doctors, engineer, business analyst, financial analyst etc.

I am an aerospace engineer and recently been to an Interview, after an hour of technical round, one of the interviewer said, "You Indians are so talented and your basic is so strong" and I replied to him, "Sir , we Indians from very childhood know that we need to compete for survival, that's the only reason we have to be strong in our respective field otherwise one would have left far behind."
